Chatsworth House

Chatsworth House is home to the Dukes of Devonshire and has been for over 350 years. The house contains one of the finest art collections in the country. Chatsworth has now become one of the most visited houses in England. Public Footpaths make lovely walks though the surrounding parkland and moors. The gardens are not to be missed

 

Haddon Hall

Haddon Hall is the finest example of a medieval manor house currently in existence in England. It has been in the ownership of the Dukes of Rutland since the reign of Elizabeth 1. The gardens over the last few years have had a lot of work done to them.  It has hardly been altered since the end of the 16th Century. It has become a perfect filming location.

Hassop Station

Hassop Station adjoins the Monsal Trail at Hassop which is easily accessible from Butts Terrace and a short drive from Youlgrave. The Old Railway Station Building now incorporates a Cycle Hire, Cafe, Bookshop and Gift Shop. Further details can be found on www.hassopstation.co.uk
